This pen was made from 1960's wooden bleacher boards from Lambeau in Green Bay Wisconsin. These wooden bleachers were used as seating during the Glory Years before the wood was replaced with aluminum. In the 1970's a fashion store called Arthur Norgarrds renovated a barn and used the stadium boards as flooring proudly displaying the seat numbers on the ceiling in the lower level of the main building. In 1986 the complex was sold and renovations were done for a Bed & Breakfast named Birch Creek Inn. A fire in 1999 caused by lightning destroyed the main buildings. Many of the stadium boards protected by plywood and thick shag carpet were saved, carefully removed and stored. The vintage stadium boards were first released to the general public in 2007, nearly 50 years after they were first used.
